Starwood Hotels’ Aloft Brand Arrives in Downtown Miami

MIAMI—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. announced the opening of Aloft Miami-Brickell in downtown Miami. Owned and managed by a joint venture between Sunview Companies and HES Group, the 160-room Aloft Miami-Brickell is the second Aloft hotel to open in the Miami metropolitan area following the opening of Aloft Miami Doral in March.
“With its leading-edge design and social vibe, the Aloft brand is a terrific match for the energy and sophistication of Miami, and we are delighted to expand the brand to this sleek, new lifestyle development in the heart of downtown,” stated Brian McGuinness, SVP, Specialty Select Brands for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. “Aloft has generated a fiercely loyal following and is cropping up in dynamic markets across the globe as we move closer to our 75th hotel milestone.”
Located within Mary Brickell Village on the southern end of downtown Miami, Aloft Miami-Brickell offers views of Miami’s skyline and direct access to the financial district. The 14-story hotel is in close proximity to the village’s shops and restaurants, and close to Miami Beach, South Beach, Coconut Grove, American Airlines Arena, the Port of Miami and Miami Marlins Ballpark. Hotel amenities include an outdoor Splash pool, bar, 24-hour gym, private parking and nearly 500 sq. ft. of meeting space.
