CHICAGO—Laurus Corporation has acquired the Renaissance O’Hare Hotel here.
The 362-suite upscale property, which opened in 2005, features more than 15,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and amenities, including a fitness center, business center, pool, concierge and an airport shuttle.
In addition to O’Hare International Airport, nearby attractions include the corporate headquarters of companies like U.S. Cellular, True Value Hardware and Wilson Sporting Goods, and the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and Allstate Arena.
A $6.5-million renovation is planned, including a complete refresh of guestrooms and corridors, f&b outlets and the hotel’s 5,000-sq.-ft. ballroom.
Concord Hospitality Enterprises will manage the property.
