SINGAPORE—IHG has opened its first Holiday Inn Express in Singapore, the Holiday Inn Express Singapore Orchard Road.
This is the third Holiday Inn Express hotel in Southeast Asia, following two hotels in Thailand: the Holiday Inn Express Phuket Patong Beach Central and the Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam.
It is also the first of two Holiday Inn Express-branded hotels planned for Singapore. It will be joined by the Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay in Q1 2014. Over the next five years, 17 hotels are scheduled to open in Southeast Asia across Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.
The 221-room hotel is located near shopping malls, medical centers and the Somerset and Orchard MRT stations. Amenities include free WiFi; a free breakfast bar, as well as a Grab & Go option; a self-service business center and laundry room.
