Small Luxury Hotels of the World Enters New Markets

LONDON—The markets of Kazakhstan, Lebanon, the Grenadines, Antigua and Texas now feature properties from Small Luxury Hotels of the World, in addition to other locations.
The new properties include the 41-room O Monot in Beirut, Lebanon, which will open September 2013 and is the company’s first hotel in Lebanon; Hotel Ella in Austin, Texas, a boutique hotel set to open September 2013; Hotel Wailea Maui in Hawaii; Petit St Vincent in St Vincent and the Grenadines, which offers 22 guest cottages hidden around the island; Donatello Boutique Hotel in Almaty, Kazakhstan, which features 22 guestrooms and suites; and Tiamo Resort in the Bahamas, offering 10 villas.
Additionally, Small Luxury Hotels of the World has acquired The Quin in New York, which will open October 2013, offering 205 guestrooms and suites with built-in furnishings and mosaic floors.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
