Wyndham Hotel Group Opens First Hotel in Iraq

DUBAI—Wyndham Hotel Group has opened the 71-room Ramada Sulayamaniyah Salim Street in Kurdistan. In addition, the Ramada Plaza Beirut Raouche in Beirut, Lebanon, has opened.
The Iraq property features 58 guestrooms and 13 suites, as well as a theater-style ballroom with catering for up to 700 people. Dining options include Panorama A La Carte Restaurant, the Boulevard Café and Aquarium Lobby Bar. The hotel also features 24-hour in-room dining. Other amenities offered are a spa with seven treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool, a Turkish bath, saunas and a whirlpool.
The 144-key Ramada Plaza Beirut Raouche features a mix of 119 standard, deluxe and executive guestrooms, as well as 25 suites. It also offers function space, a pool and fitness club. Dining options include Views, situated on the eighteenth floor featuring panoramic views of the sea and mountains; El Fornayo, an Italian restaurant; Umsiyat, featuring Lebanese fare; and the Lobby Lounge.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
