Radisson Suite Hotel Halifax Unveils New Look

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA—Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has completed a $7-million renovation at the Radisson Suite Hotel Halifax. The downtown 120 all-suite hotel is located just a short walk from the historic waterfront.
“The renovation of this fantastic hotel is another step in our objective to have 75% of all Radisson hotels in North America completed renovations by year end,” Javier Rosenberg, COO, Radisson, Americas, said in a statement. “Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has 15 Radisson hotels in Canada and this renovation is part of our Ambition 2015 strategy to position Radisson in the Americas as a powerful, globally consistent, first-class brand.”
All 120 suites have been re-imagined to include new plush linens, separate living rooms with pullout sofas, up to three flat screen TVs per suite and updated bathrooms. Additional amenities include high-speed Internet access, an updated fitness center, indoor pool, whirlpool and concierge services. The new ultra-modern lobby features a lounge. The hotel offers two state-of-the-art meetings rooms, totaling 3,000 square feet of meeting space for up to 250 guests.
The Radisson Suite Hotel Halifax is a short walk to popular attractions such as the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic and Neptune Theatre, the Discovery Centre, Halifax Citadel, and Public Gardens Park. Also nearby are Dalhousie University and Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.
