GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR—Wyndham Hotel Group has opened the Wyndham Guayaquil in Ecuador, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts’ first foray in the country.
The 179-room, full-service new-build is the fifth hotel to open under an agreement between Wyndham Hotel Group and Nobis to develop and franchise eight additional properties in Ecuador over 10 years.
The property is part of Wyndham Hotel Group’s plans to expand in Latin America. In December 2012, Wyndham added its first two hotels in Costa Rica and plans to add its first properties in Colombia and Nicaragua in 2014.
