Hilton Expands in Mexico with Mgmt. Pacts

MEXICO—Hilton Worldwide inked management agreements with Solfine Investment, S de RL de CV to manage the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Santa Fe in the state of Morelos, and with Consorcio Constructor e Inmobiliario Pegaso SA de CV to operate the Hilton Garden Inn Coatzacoalcos in the state of Veracruz.
The properties are slated to open in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
Located approximately 10 minutes from the international airport and 15 minutes from the capital city of Cuernavaca, the new-build, 120-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Santa Fe Morelos will form part of the Field of Golf Santa Fe development in the town of Xochitepec, which includes plans for residential homes and apartments, a school, an office building and a home for seniors. Travelers also will find themselves within a five-minute walk to the Science and Technology Park of Morelos and the World Trade Center, and just a 15-minute drive to Cuernavaca’s CIVAC Business Park.
The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Santa Fe Morelos will feature free breakfast, free high-speed Internet access, the Clean and Fresh Hampton bed in all guestrooms, a lobby with a zoned environment providing facilities for working or relaxing, meeting space, outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center.
The Hilton Garden Inn Coatzacoalcos will form part of a mixed-use development featuring residential villas, condominiums, gardens and commercial space, as well as direct access to the beach.
The three-story hotel will feature 120 guestrooms with the Garden Sleep System, ergonomic Mirra chair by Herman Miller, LCD high-definition, flat-screen television, alarm clock with MP3 connectivity, work desk, mini-refrigerator and coffee maker.
Dining options will include a full-service restaurant offering cooked-to-order breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel also will feature a 24-hour Pavilion Pantry shop with a selection of ready-made meals, beverages and snacks, an outdoor swimming pool and a complimentary fitness center featuring cardio and strength-training equipment, meeting space, complimentary Wi-Fi and a 24-hour business center.
Hilton Worldwide currently has 30 hotels and resorts open in Mexico.
