ATLANTA—The Westin Peachtree Plaza’s public and meeting spaces will be redesigned, with renovations scheduled to begin August 1, 2013.
The redesigned space will come from Carolyn Auger of Blackdog Studio, featuring a mixture of textiles and fabrics, vertical garden walls, nature-inspired artwork, and modern furnishings.
The lobby will see a modern color palette and sculpture-inspired lighting. All 85,000 sq. ft. of the meeting space, including the Peachtree and Plaza ballrooms, will be redone with nature-inspired design elements, like the lobby.
The property had recently undergone a $45 million renovation of its guestrooms and had also remodeled The Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar & View, which will reopen in August 2013.
