CARBONDALE, CO—Hotel Castello di Casole has joined Preferred Boutique, a collection of intimate hotels and resorts featuring 100 rooms or less, and a brand of Preferred Hotel Group.
Timbers Resorts debuted the 10th century castle-turned-boutique hotel last summer following a restoration. The 41-suite hotel sits on 4,200 acres of vineyards and olive groves. It features a wellness center, restaurant, bar, a model game reserve and an expansive trail system. In addition, the property includes 28 private farmhouses and 10 hotel villas.
The hotel will unveil Essere Spa this summer, a 5,400-sq.-ft. space that used to be the property’s wine cellar. It will feature barrel-vaulted ceilings and restores stone walls. Offerings include a fitness facility, outdoor garden terrace for yoga and Pilates, an outdoor relaxation garden and a treatment menu that incorporates Tuscan ingredients.
