BALTIMORE—InterContinental Hotels Group has opened the Holiday Inn Baltimore BWI Airport Area, located just minutes from Baltimore Washington Thurgood International Airport (BWI). The 137-room hotel is completely renovated.
“This hotel is among the over 1,200 properties worldwide which represent the new face of a brand that is redefining innovative guest comfort and convenience in cities across America,” Heather Balsley, senior vice president, Americas Holiday Inn Brand Family IHG, said in a statement. “The Baltimore/Washington area is a key market where we believe this Holiday Inn hotel will thrive.”
Featuring a contemporary image with emphasis on arrival and welcome services, guestroom and guest bath comfort and a redesigned logo and signage, the new addition to Baltimore hotels in line with the Holiday Inn brand family’s $1-billion global brand relaunch.
Holiday Inn hotels feature a residential atmosphere that is warm, trend forward and comfortable. Guest beds are made using crisp, white bedding with pillows that come in two comfort levels: “soft” and “firm.” And the bathrooms include a multifunctional showerhead, as well as a signature shower curtain with curved rod, and Bath & Body Works amenities.
