Waikiki, HI—Aston Hotels & Resorts is expanding its collection of eight Waikiki properties with its first designer boutique hotel: Hotel Renew by Aston.
Aston took over operations of the Hotel Renew at 129 Paoakalani Ave. and rebranded it.
The property offers 72 rooms with ocean, mountain or city views, designed by San Francisco, CA-based designer Jiun Ho to incorporate natural elements such as sand-blasted oak woods, limestone and a monochromatic scheme.
The hotel’s amenities include: Wireless Internet access, beach gear, PlayStation 3 Blu-Ray consoles with unlimited movies and games, morning coffee and tea service, and a weekly cocktail mixer. Guests have access to a full-service fitness facility, a Hawaiian-influenced boutique spa, and two resort pools. The no-smoking hotel also features an extensive recycling program and eco-friendly bathroom products
Kelvin Bloom, president of Aston Hotels & Resorts, said, “Adding a luxury boutique hotel to the Aston collection of hotels and resorts allows us to serve guests looking for an intimate getaway with all of the shopping, dining and activity conveniences of Waikiki at their doorstep. We are excited to enhance this hotel with Aston’s 65 years of hospitality experience."
