TUCSON, AZ—Miraval Resort & Spa will open Miraval at Natirar, a luxury resort and spa situated on the Natirar estate in Somerset County, NJ.
According to the company, this marks the next phase of the Natirar resort development project, presently consisting of the award-winning Ninety Acres Culinary Center, a 12-acre sustainable farm, banquet and catering facilities and a private membership club.
Formerly owned by the King of Morocco, Miraval at Natirar is located within the lush, rolling hills of a 500-acre park, less than an hour from New York City. The resort and spa will offer signature Miraval activities including The Miraval Equine Experience and Quantum Leap, nutritional counseling and wellness lectures, as well as spa treatments that are reflective of the new location.
When complete, Miraval at Natirar will boast an 86-room luxury hotel with suites in Natirar’s historic mansion, a 20,000-sq.-ft. spa, a 10,000-sq.-ft. wellness pavilion, a 4,000-sq.-ft. yoga center, a spa restaurant featuring Miraval spa cuisine as well as a series of meeting facilities.
According to Michael G. Tompkins, CEO of Miraval Resort & Spa, the company is actively evaluating additional select locations across the U.S.
