Red Lion Adds Hotel in Arizona

SPOKANE, WA—Red Lion Hotels Corporation has converted a property in Arizona to the Red Lion Inn & Suites Phoenix/Tempe-ASU. The conversion was completed in four weeks.
Formerly a Hampton Inn, the 162-room limited-service hotel is located just one mile from Arizona State University. Other nearby attractions include the Mill Avenue District in downtown Tempe and Old Town Scottsdale.
Amenities include two outdoor swimming pools, a 15-person whirlpool with a rock waterfall, a tennis court and a putting green.
VRE Holdings LLC owns the hotel.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
