Banyan Opens Hampton Inn & Suites in Pensacola

PENSACOLA, FL—A new 90-room Hampton Inn & Suites, owned and operated by Banyan Investment Group, has opened here. The property joins the company’s portfolio, which is valued at almost $125 million.
“The Florida panhandle is growing dramatically as a destination for leisure as well as business travelers, which we know first hand having developed and managed properties in the area for more than 35 years,” Rakesh Chauhan, president and CEO of Banyan Investment Group, said in a statement.
Built by Winter Construction, the hotel features a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and a lobby that reflects the multi-functional nature of today’s hotel lobby as a social center, refreshment area and remote office, according to the company.
