DENVER—Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has hired Shane M. Skubis as a senior director of the firm’s National Hospitality Group (NHG) here, according to Gregory A. LaBerge, the NHG’s national director.
“Shane brings extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry to our national team,” says LaBerge. “He is well known throughout the industry for his ability to achieve maximum value for clients and we are proud to have him on board to help drive our hospitality sales transactions.”
In his new post, Skubis will focus on the sale of hospitality investment properties on behalf of institutional and private investors nationwide. Skubis brings a wealth of experience and industry relationships to Marcus & Millichap. Notably, as senior vice president of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Hotel & Hospitality Group, he opened that firm’s select service hotel practice focused on assets under $25 million in the western United States. Skubis also spent more than 12 years at Intercontinental Hotels Group where he created more than 135 franchise units throughout the U.S.
