STAMFORD, CT—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has opened its second hotel in Silicon Valley.
Owned by Triyar Hospitality and formerly operated under Starwood’s W brand, the hotel underwent a multi-million dollar renovation to reposition it as an Aloft property.
The hotel offers 172 guestrooms, a heated pool, the w xyz, a 24-hour fitness center and more than 3,000 sq. ft. of flexible indoor/outdoor function space. It also features a restaurant, +Plus, offering fresh California cuisine.
Approximately 30 minutes from three international airports, the hotel is located near the offices of Facebook, Logitech, Google, Tesla, Johnson & Johnson, Hewlett Packard and many other high-profile companies. Palo Alto, the San Francisco Bay Area, Stanford University and several recreation areas, including Don Edwards Wildlife Preserve, Coyote Hills Regional Park and San Francisco Bay Area Wildlife Refuge, are also nearby.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
