Waterford Promotes Beattie to GM in Connecticut

DANBURY, CT—Waterford Hotel Group promoted Christopher Beattie to general manager at the Residence Inn by Marriott here.
The 78-room Residence Inn is managed by Waterford Hotel Group.
Beattie will oversee all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the hotel. He has more than nine years of hospitality experience, including serving as guest services manager for the Country Inn & Suites in Cortland, NY.
Beattie joined Waterford Hotel Group in 2010 as operations manager for the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Ithaca, NY, and most recently assisted with the Waterford’s Operations Task Force team.
The newly renovated Residence Inn by Marriott Danbury features studio as well as one- and two-bedroom suites. The suites offer separate living and sleeping areas and a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Other hotel features include 286 sq. ft. of meeting space and a fitness center.
