Waterford Promotes Miller to GM

NORWICH, CT—Waterford Hotel Group promoted Alan Miller to general manager at the 120-room Courtyard by Marriott here, which it manages.
Miller will oversee all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the hotel. He joins the Courtyard Norwich from his most recent roles as assistant general manager for the Comfort Inn Mystic and the Residence Inn by Marriott Mystic, where he oversaw both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Miller also previously served as guest services manager for the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton, CT, and assistant front office manager at the Marriott Hartford Downtown, also in Connecticut.
Waterford Hotel Group operates 32 properties in nine states, representing more than 4,000 total rooms.
