NEW YORK—The Hilton New York has been renamed the New York Hilton-Midtown as the property approaches its 50th anniversary.
The new name is a tribute to the 1,981-room hotel's storied past and way of helping business and leisure travelers more easily identify its Manhattan neighborhood, according to the company.
The property, which was originally opened in 1963, is located on Sixth Avenue between West 53rd and 54th streets.
