SEATTLE—The Dow Hotel Company, LLC (DHC), a hotel ownership, investment and management company, has added two senior management appointments at the Hyatt North Houston in Greenspoint, TX. Jayne Murad has been promoted to director of human resources, and Benjamin Moore was appointed controller.
A veteran human resources generalist, Murad began working with DHC in 2004 as director of human resources at the Sheraton North Houston Hotel. Prior to joining DHC, she served with Starwood Hotels and Resorts in both Texas and California.
Moore joins the company from his most recent position as director of finance for the nearby Hotel Icon. Earlier, he served in varying capacities with Crestline Hotels and Resorts. As a member of Crestline’s special assignments team, Moore was responsible for the financial reconciliation for the opening or takeover of numerous hotels during his tenure.
The 334-room Hyatt North Houston is located in the midst of the North Houston business district, nearby such corporate locations as Halliburton Energy, GE, Exxon and Smith International.
