ATLANTA, GA—Located in the historic Connally Building, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Downtown Atlanta recently completed a $4-million renovation.
Updated with modern decor, the 156-suite hotel still contains historic elements such as the marble staircase from its original 17th century architecture.
Each suite is equipped with a separate living area complete with a sofa bed, microwave, mini-fridge and flat-screen TV.
In addition, the hotel offers 24-hour services such as a fitness center, valet, laundry services and business center. It also offers a complimentary hot breakfast buffet and a full-service bar, 54 Lounge.
The hotel’s Connally room, named after the original building, which was constructed in 1916, boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and views of Downtown Atlanta. It seats up to 75 people and provides a large flat-screen television and equipment for presentations during business meetings. An open atrium sits just outside the room and offers additional seating and televisions.
Frontier Development owns the hotel.
