Court Overturns Marriott Injunction

MIAMI—An appellate court in New York has agreed with the Eden Roc here that the hotel has the right to remove Marriott International as manager.
The dispute between the owner of the Eden Roc and Marriott began a year ago, when the hotel owner terminated its long-term agreement with Marriott, alleging a number of defaults. Marriott then obtained an injunction from a lower court, allowing its management team to remain in place at the property, That injunction has now been overturned.
Marriott hasn't disclosed what legal steps, if any, it plans in response.
