AmericInn Acquires, Converts Illinois Hampton Inn

SCHAUMBURG, IL—AmericInn acquired a former Hampton Inn, located here at 1300 E. Higgins Road, that has been reflagged as the AmericInn Hotel & Suites Schaumburg, which AmericInn will manage.
The 128-room hotel will be upgraded with more than $1 million in renovations, including the addition of a new indoor swimming pool and spa area.
Signature AmericInn services will be introduced into the property, including the complimentary AmericInn Perk hot breakfast; complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access; a business center; and fitness center.
The AmericInn Hotel & Suites Schaumburg is close to Woodfield Mall, LegoLand Discovery Center, IKEA and Cabela's. Regional attractions include the Sears Centre, Allstate Arena and Stephen's Convention Center.
The hotel is the sixth AmericInn in Illinois. Other locations in the state include Kewanee, Peoria, Monmouth, Princeton and Oswego.
