HVMG Names Jones to Exec Post

ATLANTA—Hospitality Ventures Management Group named Richard Jones SVP/COO for the company, with oversight operations, capital projects, sales and marketing and revenue management.
Jones brings nearly 20 years of experience in hotel operations, property management, asset management and investment management to his new position.
Prior to joining HVMG, he served as COO for Portman Holdings, an Atlanta-based global real estate investment, development and management firm. Previously, he also held executive-level hospitality management positions at Hardin Capital, Noble Investment Group and Impac Hotel Group.Jones started his career with Marriott International.
Hospitality Ventures Management Group is a privately owned hotel ownership and management group that specializes in turning around and repositioning underperforming hotels. The firm currently operates 41 hotels in 16 states.
