ZURICH—Swissôtel Métropole, Geneva has introduced 12 new signature rooms as the first of their kind within Swissôtels & Resorts.
The design follows an alpine inspiration, with parquet floors and colorful wallpapers, which symbolize seas of flowers as encountered in the Swiss Alps, according to the company. Swiss textile manufacturer Jakob Schlaepfer, a Silk and Embroidery Company, designed the wallpaper exclusively for the hotel.
The open, mosaic bathrooms offer steam showers and Jacuzzi baths with jet stream, as well as Pürovel amenities.
The signature rooms also offers the following: lights and electronic instruments navigated via a central control panel; a 150-channel television integrated into a room-high mirror, with a media connection panel allowing guests to connect an MP3 player, an iPad or notebook; and a view over the English Garden or Lake Geneva. Minibar, ironing service on arrival, Nespresso coffee machine and free WiFi access are all included.
12 additional signature rooms will be completed in the course of the year.
