DALLAS—Trisha Wilson is transitioning away from her role as president/CEO of Wilson Associates, and will continue to focus on furthering the success of The Wilson Foundation, a non-profit founded to address the needs of disadvantaged and underserved children in Limpopo Province, South Africa. She will remain on the Wilson Associates Board of Managers and retain her significant ownership of the firm.
Wilson founded the interior architectural design firm in 1971, and under her leadership, it expanded across six continents and more than 50 countries.
During the transition, EVPs Cheryl Neumann and Hemanshu Parwani will act as co-presidents, overseeing daily operations and managing the firm’s 350 international employees.
“Wilson Associates remains committed to Trisha’s mission and vision: Do great design, give back and success will follow,” said Neumann in a statement. “Opportunities in the hospitality industry continue to flourish, and we look forward to the success that is to come,” added Parwani.
Wilson Associates is currently working on more than 250 hospitality projects across the globe, with 25 scheduled to open this year.
