NORTH PALM BEACH, FL—Driftwood Hospitality Management appointed new general managers at three of the company’s Hilton Worldwide properties. Effective immediately, Becky Darnell joins the 122-room Hampton Inn Daytona Beach Speedway-Airport; Joseph Jones joins the 194-room DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Columbus Downtown; and Nabil Salloum joins the 521-room Hilton Tampa Downtown. Previously, Darnell was the GM at the Clarion Inn Airport in Fletcher, NC. She began her career in the airline industry before joining Driftwood in 2005. Since then, Darnell has served in a variety of roles, including assistant general manager, general manager, controller and human resources director. Jones, who is overseeing a $6 million renovation of the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Columbus Downtown, most recently was director of operations of new-builds and transitions with Hilton brands. Salloum has more than 28 years in the hospitality industry, and previously was general manager of the Renaissance Plantation Hotel in Plantation, FL.
