Home2 Suites Opens First Alabama Hotel Tuesday February 12th, 2013 - 10:19AM

OXFORD, AL—Home2 Suites by Hilton opened its first property for the brand in the state, here. The property is owned by Oxford Hospitality, LLC, and managed by Ascent Hospitality, LLC. The five-story, 81-suite hotel, located at 300 Colonial Drive, offers trademark Home2 Suites amenities such as the Oasis lobby area, the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, Spin2 Cycle and the “Inspired Table” complimentary breakfast. The pet-friendly hotel also features an outdoor saline pool. The hotel is close to downtown Anniston and the Talladega Superspeedway. It also is near to businesses including: BAE Systems, Precision Strip, General Dynamics, Honda, Civilian Marksmanship, the U.S .Army Depot and Doncaster/Southern Tool. Nearby attractions include the Cider Ridge Golf Club, the Cheaha State Park and the Berman Museum of World History. “Oxford’s mix of local attractions and business activity make it an ideal destination for the Home2 brand offering in Alabama,” said Bill Duncan, global head, Home2 Suites by Hilton.
