HSMAI Bestows Adrian Awards

NEW YORK–The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International has awarded its annual Adrian Awards to recognize achievement in hospitality advertising, digital marketing and public relations.
This year, Roger Dow, president & CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, was awarded the Albert Koehl Award for Advertising, while Howard Feiertag of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute was the recipient of the Winthrop Grice Award for Public Relations.
In addition, HSMAI named the Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales & Marketing. Of the 25, 12 represented sales and marketing executives at 11 hotel companies. The companies included Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Worldwide, Wyndham Hotel Group, Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Red Roof Inn, Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, IHG, Best western International and Hostmark Hospitality Group. The remaining 13 represented assorted travel and tourism companies.
