DAVOS, SWITZERLAND–The CEOs of Hilton Worldwide and Marriott International have urged governments to adopt smart visa policies that stimulate global travel, create new jobs and spur economic development. Hilton's Christopher Nassetta and Marriott's Arne Sorenson spoke on behalf of the smart visa program at the World Economic Forum held here last week. Smart visas are intended to facilitate travel and, therefore, hotel stays, while removing process inefficiencies caused by arduous visa requirements. Tags: Hospitality |
The most recent NYU Conference, earlier this month proved, once and for all, that the lodging industry has finally turned the corner and happy days are, indeed, here again.
