NAPLES, FL—On the heels of its recent multimillion-dollar makeover, the Inn on Fifth, here, has completed an $18-million expansion project, adding 32 Club Level Suites.
The Inn on Fifth and Club Level Suites now offers 119 rooms, including the 32 new suites, in two iconic buildings just steps from one another across Fifth Avenue.
“This expansion is the culmination of many years of planning and preparation,” Phil McCabe, owner of the Inn on Fifth and Club Level Suites, said in a statement. “With the completion of the new building, addition of the Club Level Suites, and redesign of the original Inn, we’ve blended comfort and luxury to create a truly first-class experience for our guests.”
The largest redevelopment effort on Fifth Avenue South since the start of the 2008 financial crisis, the milestone project included the construction of a new three-story, 40,000-sq.-ft. building directly across Fifth Avenue from the Inn’s landmark location, which is the new home of the Club Level Suites and 12,000 sq. ft. of new street-level retail space.
The first new hotel rooms built in Naples since 2008, the Inn’s Club Level Suites feature a contemporary design with large floor plans, ranging from 516 to more than 1,100 sq. ft. The two Presidential Suites feature two bedrooms and two baths, with more than 1,100 sq. ft. of space. The modern look and feel of the Inn’s Club Level reflects the recent $2-million renovations at the original Inn on Fifth property. The rooms feature a contemporary decor with a palette of warm grays, creamy whites and crisp black with bold splashes of red. Guestrooms are adorned with custom-made furniture, custom artwork and crown molding. The rooms also feature extra-large balconies with sweeping vistas of Fifth Avenue and downtown Naples. Club Level guests also receive the Inn’s standard amenities such as complimentary valet parking, WiFi, in-room refrigerator and more.
Upon entering the Club Level Suites, guests are greeted by a concierge and escorted to an exclusive Club Level check-in. Added luxuries include a private rooftop retreat with a hot tub and sunbathing area. Guests also receive buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and refreshments, and evening cocktails and snacks. The new construction also includes a modern 700-sq.-ft. executive boardroom, complete with audio visual and big screen TV monitors.

For the past few years, the talk of The Lodging Conference in Phoenix had been focused on the economic recovery, solid industry projections and “cautious optimism.” With the word cautious no longer necessary, the economic outlook took a backseat this year to the seemingly unending parade of new lifestyle brands.
