Davidson Adds to Executive Team

ATLANTA, GA—Davidson Hotels & Resorts, a hotel management company, has hired Barry Wabler as EVP and CFO and Jay Rosen as VP of business development.
Wabler will oversee the accounting, IT and risk management areas and aid in the strategic direction of the company. He previously served as VP and CFO for Hotel Equities Group, LLC, a third-party hotel operator, and as president and COO of Currey & Company, Inc., a home furnishings manufacturer.
Rosen will be responsible for new acquisitions and management contracts for Davidson. Prior to joining the company, he was part of the development and finance team for Baha Mar, a resort in the Bahamas. He has also served as director, feasibility and investment analysis for Interstate Hotels & Resorts and as a member of the acquisition and development team at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts in Chicago.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
