Starwood Expands in Bali with Sheraton

BALI, INDONESIA—The opening of the 203-room Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort marks the latest Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide property to debut on Bali.
Owned by PT. Indonesian Paradise Island, the new Sheraton is part of a mixed-use development that includes a major retail component.
The new property is the fifth Starwood property on Bali. By 2014, Starwood is scheduled to have three additional hotels on Bali, making a total of eight representing six of the company's brands.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
