PARIS, FRANCE—The Expedia, Inc. group has appointed Christopher Michau as VP of its global partner group, a division of Expedia Lodging Partner Services.
Michau will lead a team of account managers to maximize exposure of global hotel chains and key accounts on Expedia’s more than 140 travel sites. The team will also collaborate with hotel companies on implementing Expedia initiatives like Expedia Traveller Preference, which offers consumers a choice on how and when to pay for bookings made on Expedia and Hotels.com. In addition, Michau will now oversee the Industry Relations group.
Michau joined Expedia as a Market Manager over 10 years ago and worked his way up the ranks. Most recently, he served as senior director of global strategic accounts.
