BARCELONA, SPAIN–The 186-room La Mola Hotel & Conference Center here will convert to the DoubleTree by Hilton brand early next year.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Center La Mola will be the second DoubleTree Hotel in Spain. The hotel is owned by Layetana and operated under a long-term franchise agreement with Hilton Worldwide. The DoubleTree brand has 55 hotels operating or in development in Europe.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
