EFFINGHAM, IL—Lexington Inn & Suites, part of Vantage Hospitality Group, has increased its distribution with the conversion of the former Keller Inn & Suites, located at 1103 Avenue of Mid America here, to the brand. The property features 91 guestrooms and executive suites, as well as a business center and meeting room that can accommodate small groups. Also featured are heated indoor pool, fitness center with upgraded Star Trac cardio equipment, complimentary wireless Internet access in all guestrooms and public areas and free daily deluxe continental breakfast. David Rains is serving as general manager of the hotel. Bill Hanley, group president of the Lexington Collection of Inns, Hotels and Suites, expects Lexington to add at least 15 properties in 2012. The most recent NYU Conference, earlier this month proved, once and for all, that the lodging industry has finally turned the corner and happy days are, indeed, here again.
