ISTANBUL, TURKEY–The Turkey-based Marti Group has opened the 270-room Marti Istanbul Hotel here. The hotel features two restaurants and multiple bars, an 8,600 sq. ft. full-service spa and 7,400 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. The property is centrally located in the fashionable Taksim neighborhood of Istanbul in close proximity to the Blue Mosque and other popular leisure attractions. The most recent NYU Conference, earlier this month proved, once and for all, that the lodging industry has finally turned the corner and happy days are, indeed, here again.
