NEW YORK–Spain-based RIU Hotels & Resorts plans to open a 600-room RIU Plaza Hotel in Manhattan's Times Square neighborhood in 2015. The new-construction project will be located at 8th Ave. & 46th St. in the heart of the Broadway theater district. The hotel will feature a restaurant, bar, cafe, fitness center and executive lounge. A third-generation, family-owned company, the RIU chain has more than 100 hotels in 16 countries in its portfolio. Tags: Hospitality Ownership |
