Hilton San Francisco Union Square Completes Redesign

SAN FRANCISCO—The Hilton San Francisco Union Square has completed a $53-milion redevelopment project that saw all 550 guestrooms and function space redesigned. The property now features contemporary design elements.
The renovation is apart of a greater scope of projects by Hilton Hotels & Resorts. The projects began in 2011 and they now total more than $3 billion.

The most recent NYU Conference, earlier this month proved, once and for all, that the lodging industry has finally turned the corner and happy days are, indeed, here again. While the economists and pundits all provided plenty of anecdotal evidence to bear that out in terms of supply and demand ratios, RevPAR projections, asset values and all the other metrics, that’s not what has me convinced.
