HILTON HEAD, SC—Northview Hotel Group (NVHG), based in Westport, CT, has acquired The Beach House, a Holiday Inn Resort here.
NVHG Management, NVHG’s operating arm, will operate the resort and oversee the completion of a strategic renovation project.
The Beach House marks Northview’s third acquisition since mid-2012. In May 2012, Northview acquired the Sanderling Resort & Spa, on the Outer Banks of NC and in September 2012, the group acquired the Sheraton hotel in downtown Raleigh, NC. All three transactions include a significant renovation and strategic re-positioning program implemented by Northview’s construction management and operational teams.
The Beach House features 202 guestrooms, an oceanfront pool, 4,600 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space and three f&b outlets, including the iconic Tiki Hut.
