The Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina recently completed a $2 million renovation of its Bay Tower.

SAN DIEGO—The Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina has completed a $2 million soft-goods refresh to all 348 guestrooms in the hotel’s Bay Tower.

The project, which began last November, included new carpeting, furniture reupholstery, new task chairs and UV window treatments. In addition, guest bathrooms were enhanced with new bathtubs, fixtures and wall covering. Hallway carpeting, lighting and wall covers throughout the Bay Tower also were redone. In line with the hotel’s nautical decor, guestrooms and public spaces now feature neutral tones with red and blue accents.

In addition, the outdoor Bay Tower Lounge Patio was also revitalized to better highlight the hotel’s views of San Diego Bay, downtown San Diego and Point Loma. A Starbucks coffee kiosk was added adjacent to the hotel lobby, and upgrades were made to the Bay Tower fitness center. These upgrades included doubling the size of the space and introducing Sheraton Fitness by Core Performance.

Renovation plans for the Bay Tower’s main dining room are being scheduled for later in 2013.
