The Farmhouse at Cresto Ranch will serve as a main lodge.

DUNTON HOT SPRINGS, CO—Dunton Hot Springs resort will debut Cresto Ranch here June 1.

The Cresto Ranch "rooms"—luxury tented accommodation—will feature eight 640-sq.-ft. canvas tents located in an alpine clearing in the Colorado Rockies. Each tent will feature a gas heating stove, spacious en-suite bathroom and private lounging porch. At the center of the intimate resort will be the main lodge —a restored 19th-century farmhouse—featuring a dining room, guest salon and wraparound deck, located 20 feet from the Dolores River, with views of the San Juan Mountains.

Using local and regional ingredients, the chefs at Cresto Ranch will create a unique menu daily. Cresto guests will also have the opportunity to sample the wide array of wines from the resort's Sutcliffe Vineyards.

Cresto Ranch will be open from June 1 to October 31. Rates are expected to start at $1,400 per night (double occupancy) and include all meals and beverages.

Opened in 2001, Dunton Hot Springs resort is a restored ghost town set in a valley in the Colorado Rockies. The town's original 19th-century log cabins have been transformed into 12  accommodations. Its spa is fed by natural mineral hot springs and the town's old saloon is now a restaurant serving organic fare paired with wines produced by the resort's own Sutcliffe Vineyards.
