SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA–Hilton Garden Inn plans to open a second hotel in Costa Rica, the 118-room Hilton Garden Inn San Jose Sabana, in mid-2015.
The project broke ground this month. The hotel will be owned by Desarrolladora Parque la Sabana and operated under a franchise agreement with Hilton Garden Inn's parent, Hilton Worldwide. The hotel will be part of the Sabana Business Center, a 20-story mixed-use complex that includes office, retail and parking components. The hotel will feature 10,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. Hilton Garden Inn already has a hotel in operation in Costa Rica at the Liberia Airport.
