Urgo Hotels to Open Marriott Hotel in Florida

POMPANO BEACH, FL–Urgo Hotels plans to open a 219-room Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Oceanfront Hotel in July.

It will be the first new build hotel to open in the Greater Pompano Beach area since a Residence Inn by Mariott debuted in 2002. Each guestroom of the new hotel will feature a private balcony with views of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel will offer more than 8,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, including a 4,000 sq. ft. oceanfront ballroom. Planned for the building's roof is a 3,000 sq. ft. landscaped terrace.

Urgo Hotels currently owns and/or manages 32 hotels in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean, consisting of more than 4,000 rooms.
