ATLANTA—InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened the Holiday Inn Charleston Historic Downtown, the area’s first new hotel development in over 10 years, according to the company.
The hotel has 120 rooms, including three full suites and 23 specialty rooms, all of which offer a private patio. The hotel features a natural, fresh color palette with pops of energetic color. Beds have white bedding with soft and firm pillows, and bathrooms feature a multifunctional showerhead and Bath & Body Works amenities. The rooms also offer an ergonomic workstation and data ports.
The hotel also features free WiFi throughout the hotel, a heated outdoor pool, 2,109 sq. ft. of meeting space, a library and business center, a fitness center, and The Meeting Room Restaurant and Tapas Bar.
Tara of Charleston LLC owns the property and Tara Investments manages it.
