SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA—Hilton Worldwide signed a multi-unit management agreement with BG Group of hotels to manage four properties, marking the company’s entry into the Northern Territory and DoubleTree by Hilton’s introduction into Australia.
The properties, currently operating and subject to conversion works, will join Hilton Cairns as a portfolio of five BG Group of Hotels properties being operated by Hilton Worldwide. The agreement goes into effect on May 1.
The rebranded properties include the following: the 235-room Hilton Darwin; the 184-room DoubleTree by Hilton Darwin; the 197-room DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin; and the 235-room DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs.
