ORLANDO—Richard Larkin is the new GM of the Wyndham Orlando Resort. He will be responsible for overseeing the property’s multi-million dollar re-imagination project in 2013. In addition, he will oversee hotel operations, staff management, project administration and guest relations.

Prior to this, Larkin served as GM of Hilton Daytona Beach Resort, leading the property through a $50-million renovation and rebranding. He also gained renovation experience working with Pyramid Hotel Group, where he transitioned the International Plaza Resort and Spa to the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld on International Drive.

Wyndham Orlando Resort, and its owner I Shops LLC, broke ground last August on a multi-million dollar enhancement, which will encompass all 613 guestrooms, and a newly constructed lobby and conference center.
