A Le Meridien in Thailand

STAMFORD, CT–Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide's upper-upscale Le Meridien lifestyle brand has a strong list of openings scheduled for 2013.

Acquired by Starwood in 2005, the Le Meridien brand has always been strong internationally and that profile continues with openings this year set for Bali, Egypt, Bangladesh, Vietnam and India. In addition, two new Le Meridien hotels are scheduled to debut in China. One of the brand's leading international hotels is in Thailand (pictured).

Le Meridien also continues to strengthen its U.S. portfolio with an opening in the Greater Atlanta market next month and in the Greater Chicago market next January.
