CHICAGO–Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide plans to open a Sheraton hotel across the street from the Wrigley Field baseball stadium here.
Starwood reached an agreement with the Ricketts family, which owns the stadium, home to the Chicago Cubs, as well as the development site on which the hotel will stand. In a wider marketing and promotional deal with the team and the family, Starwood has been named the Cubs' exclusive hotel and resort partner.
